The Moving Corps doesn’t own trucks or employ crews. We vet independent local crews, run the bidding, and stand behind the price. These five rules are how we make that safe for you — and they’re built into the platform, not just promised on this page.
You pay us. Never the crew.
Every job runs through one invoice, from The Moving Corps. The crew that does your job never bills you directly and never collects payment from you on-site. If a crew ever asks you to pay them instead of us, that's a violation of the agreement they signed to be on this platform — call us and tell us.
The crew's number and your number never meet
What a crew bid to win your job and what you're quoted are two separate numbers on two separate screens, and no one person or system ever puts them side by side. That's not a policy we try to follow — it's a rule enforced in the software itself, the same way a bank keeps two employees required to open a vault.
No crew bids without a passed check
Before a crew can see a single job, it has to clear a licensing and insurance check. That includes a real additional-insured endorsement, not just a certificate — certificates alone “confer no rights” and we don't accept them as proof by themselves. A crew that can't clear the check doesn't get on the board, no exceptions.
Your address stays private until you're matched
Crews bid on your job knowing your general area, not your street. The full address only goes to the one crew you accept. We don't sell your details, and we don't blast your job to a list of companies who then call you directly.
The price you accept is the price you pay
Your quote already includes the crew's dump and disposal fees. There's no on-site “actually, it's bigger than we thought” renegotiation built into how this works — the crew priced the job from your photos and description, and that's the number that stands.
